Storm and flooding in Europe may affect transport

Areas in southwestern Poland and near the border between the Czech Republic and Poland are affected by flooding. The main issue involves rivers that have overflowed, causing flooding in certain areas. Some roads are closed due to the flooding, but in most cases, detours are available.

Freight trains we use have not yet been affected, neither in Poland and the surrounding area, nor the trains running between Italy and Scandinavia. The only trains we know of that have been canceled are passenger trains.

Some areas in Austria, Romania, and Slovakia have also reported heavy water levels and flooding.

We are monitoring the situation and will provide updates if the flooding worsens and impacts the transport services we provide.

Such disasters can cause ripple effects in transport beyond the affected area, and we must consider the possibility of longer transit times and potential additional costs.
