Logistics Forecast for India in the coming weeks

  • higher freight costs than normal

  • expect a challenge when searching for space for a carrier
(above might vary due to country of import, etc.)

  • To avoid delays or disruption in the customs clearance process, the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) decided to ease off on the requirement of bonds until June 30th 2021. Businesses can now present an undertaking instead of a bond, as long as they replace it with a proper bond by July 15, 2021.  (Rana, May 2021)

Imports of life-critical medical supplies

ColliCare Logistics India is glad to have played a trusting role in procuring necessary medical equipment in times of need and urgency.

In March the government announced lockdown due to the second wave of the coronavirus. While businesses temporarily went back to limited/no operation, the import-export experienced a huge increase in the need for medical equipment.

The medical equipment:

  • Oxygen Concentrators
Provides oxygen to people with low blood oxygen level by pulling oxygen from the surrounding air.

  • Oximeters
Checks the level of oxygen in a person’s body or in other words, how well is your heart pumping oxygen in your body

Currently, there are no vacant positions at ColliCare Denmark at the moment.
