We are still experiencing economic instability and see no clear signs of stabilization. The weak Norwegian krone, historically high wage settlements, and elevated interest rates continue to affect costs.
To cover increased expenses, our prices will increase from January 1 as follows:
- All domestic services: 6.9%
- Warehouse and logistics services: 6.9%
- Customs clearance services and fees: 4.9%
- International road and rail freight: 4.9%
- Sea freight in Europe: €50 per TEU
Additionally, there will be some zone updates for domestic transport from the same date.
Stevedoring
Port operators are adjusting their prices, and our customers receiving shortsea cargo at the ports of Oslo and Moss will see the following increases in stevedoring fees:
Oslo: +€40 per container
Moss: +€50 per container
ETS (Emissions Trading System) for road and sea transport
From January 1, all transport crossing water from the continent to Norway will see an adjustment in the ETS surcharge. The ETS is calculated in line with the projected developments from the European Commission.
This is due to the coverage under the emissions trading system for shipping increasing from 40% to 70% of verified emissions.
